'The Golden Couple'

Sascha Kindred and Nyree Lewis, otherwise known as the 'golden couple' of disabled sport, are two of Great Britain's most successful paralympians of the last decade, amassing 20 Paralympic medals between them including an amazing 8 golds. Did you know......?

Sascha still holds the junior record for his favourite event, the 100m breast stroke?

Yes, he has held it since 1995 and it still stands at 1 min 32.84 seconds.

He also holds the 50m breast stroke record which still stands at 42.52 seconds.

He is now 28 years old, and has held them both since he was 17!!!
