'The Golden Couple'

Sascha Kindred and Nyree Lewis, otherwise known as the 'golden couple' of disabled sport, are two of Great Britain's most successful paralympians of the last decade, amassing 20 Paralympic medals between them including an amazing 8 golds. Further World Champs Coverage Announced on BBC...

The BBC has confirmed further coverage of the IPC World Swimming Championships which kick off this Saturday (2 December) and run to the 7 December in Durban. Digital viewers in the UK can watch live coverage of the action as part of the BBC’s interactive service. Coverage is scheduled from 3-5pm on Sunday 3 December and from 3-4.30pm on Thursday 7 December (both UK time).

Each day, a five-minute highlights programme will be available to view online on the BBC disability sport pages. The Championships will also feature as part of a larger swimming package (including footage from the European Short Course Championships) on BBC Grandstand on Sunday 10 December.

An event preview featuring National Performance Director Tim Reddish and British swimmer Matthew Whorwood will be broadcast on BBC Radio 5 on Thursday 30 November between 9.30pm and 10pm.
